*First month fees is not covered in registration fees.

*December security deposit is used in case of withdrawals, it will offset the last month of enrollment. You need not pay for December fees in December again.

There are no refunds for registration fees ($280) after the start of the 1st day of school.

When will the school fees be paid?

Fees are to be paid within the first week of every month. (i.e Feb fees: Feb 1 - Feb 7).
Can I register my 5 year old child in a 3 year old class?

No. We would only accept an age difference of +1 year for ALL class age groups. Based on our experience, 3 year olds will have a longer period of settling in a new class environment and the interaction experience is much different than a 5 year old. 5 year old students may be put off by the constant crying of 3 year olds who are adjusting to class and they might be put off from the lessons. Having peers of the same age group will greatly help them assimilate to the class environment better so that everyone can have a conducive learning environment.
My child turns 3 in December. Do I have to wait until he turns 3 to register or registration is by Year Of Birth?

No. We will look into the calendar year and will accept the child if they are in the correct age group for that year. However, do ensure your child is able to comprehend instructions by adults so that it will facilitate a better learning experience for them.
My child has no basic knowledge of the surah being taught in a 3-4 year old programme and is already 5 years old. Can I put him in a 3 year old Programme?

No. As explained in the question above, we would highly encourage parents to send your child to the correct age group. The memorization techniques taught by our teachers will ensure new students will be able to be on par with the other students in class.
Where do I collect the uniform?

There will not be any physical collection or purchase at our branches. All uniforms will be ordered via our website and we will have it delivered to you before the first day of school. Even if payment and order is made, collection will still not be allowed.

Who needs to purchase LQK Uniforms?

All enrolled LQK Preschool Students (3-5 year olds) must wear our LQK Uniforms.

Buy our uniforms here: https://lqkstore.littlequrankids.sg/products/lqk-uniform

My kids' jubah is still a little bit small. Can I alter it?

Yes. You can alter the jubah to fit your child.
My child is a current student. Can he use the same uniform or do we need to buy the new uniforms?

Yes. You can also purchase new uniforms when needed on the website.
May I accompany my child during the first week of physical class?

No. We encourage parents to prepare their child before class and manage their expectations of being in a class without their parents. This is especially important if your child has not entered any classroom settings before this. Our teachers are trained to make sure that your child adjusts well to the new environment. We will have playtime and a calm corner for students who might take a longer time to adjust to new friends. Being in a classroom of the same age group will help them familiarise better in the new social setting.

We would however encourage parents to be within the vicinity of the branch for the first month in case teachers need you to come back.
Does LQK provide trial classes?

No. We don’t allow any trial lessons for any registrations or visits to our centres. If you need more details, do send your enquiries to admin@littlequrankids.sg!

What if my child is absent for class? Any make-up classes? Or can they attend another class?

No, there will not be any make-up classes. You can look up for the weekly announcement to know what the class did.

We also can't allow students to join another class temporarily as it will affect the class ratio as well as your child's learning due to the different class environment and teachers. Similarly, please view the Weekly Announcements in Skooly to know what has been missed in calss.

What if my child is absent for class, must I still pay full month fees?

According to our policy, the monthly fees are required regardless of your child's attendance. LQK places significant importance on maintaining full attendance throughout the enrollment period. Therefore, even if your child is absent for a week or the entire month, the full fees of $120 must still be paid. We regret to inform you that we are unable to waive any fees under any circumstances.

Also, similar to other government and non-government preschools, our institution does not permit the waiving of fees for any parent due to their child's absence. This policy ensures fairness and consistency among all parents and students attending our school.
What if my child is absent for class due to my work that is relocating me to overseas?

We appreciate your efforts to ensure that your child continues to get the best education at all times. We understand the challenges that may arise when a parent's work requires relocation overseas and the potential impact on their child's attendance in class. However, LQK adheres to strict policies regarding absenteeism and fee waivers, as previously stated. It is important to consider that online class may not provide the same level of individualized attention as in-person class, and time zone differences in various countries may further complicate the scheduling of classes.
What if my there are centre closures, do I still need to pay the full fees?

According to our policy, our fee structure is based on a monthly rate for 4 sessions, ensuring that your child receives uninterrupted education. Occasionally, the closure of the center happens in months with 5 weeks. Or we will compensate for the missed session by incorporating additional curriculum during regular class hours after the holiday.

For December, fees are made as it is used as security deposit in case of withdrawals. In case of no withdrawals, parents will not need to pay for december fees again.

Why is June and December fees needed if there is a break?

It has been LQK’s custom that there are 3 weeks of classes in June and 2 weeks of classes in December. In conjunction to the School Holidays respectively, LQK has given the students the respective weekends off for our students to focus with their Quranic Revision (Muraja’ah) at the comfort of their homes. The details of the Muraja'ah will be given nearer to date.

I would like to withdraw from the programme. What should I do?

Please inform our Admin via EMAIL (admin@littlequrankids.sg) on your decision to withdraw. Your December fees will be used to offset your last month with us. There will be no refunds (registration fees/ monthly fees) for withdrawal.

1 month notice will take place upon receiving your withdrawal form submission. Any unpaid fees before the last month of enrollment must be paid.
How do I get in touch with the teachers and inform them of my child's absence for class?

You may contact your child's teachers via the Skooly App, Inbox > Message tab. We encourage parents to inform the teachers in advance of your child's absense so that our teachers are informed of their absense.

For any other non teaching related enquiries, please whatsapp our admins or send us an email at admin@littlequrankids.sg
